From the soul of the South comes The Shiz. Indie Rock meets Louisiana Blues and Soul from Liz Hogan and Lilli Lewis, two leading ladies that front the band more like preacher women than beauty queens. From the first chord to the last, The Shiz is hellbent on putting meaning back in the mainstream and they do so with relentless, "you'll take it and you'll like it" integrity. The band plays with a compelling transparency with their hearts pumping hard in their chests - Unexpectedly stirring, and a damned good time.
